Here It Goes Again...

I am briefly emerging from my cave to let everyone know I didn't abandon my blog and flee to Mexico after San Diego comic-con. Between trying to finish up my manga MY DEAD GIRLFRIEND and the Seth-tastic new season of The O.C., I've been pulling 17+ hour work days.

Here are a couple of tour poster concepts I created for my pals OK Go (whose single, "Invincible" was the theme for The Atomic County Verizon cartoon) and The Redwalls (more on them tomorrow). These ultimately went unused, but I had a fun time making them and it's what first got me hooked on their music.

To keep you further entertained, OK Go has released a brilliant new dance video -- this time on treadmills.

Welcome back! Awesome posters! I really love your retro type style. Very cool!

17 hours? You wimp! Seriously, that sounds pretty miserable. I can totally relate!

Great poster images. I dunno when you found time to squeeze that out.

That OKGO video is just absolutely brilliant. They definitely topped their previous efforts with this one.

the Seth-tastic new season of The O.C.

Does this mean the upcoming season will focus on Seth's comic book geekdom more than last year? I sure hope so. So far the highlight of the show has been the Season 2 comic book hijinks.

And all the Jewish jokes. But maybe that's just me.

I'm sworn to secrecy about the new season, but I will say this: I've already created more new art for the first episode of the fourth season than I think I did the entire second season.

Awesome.

And to think I was going to stop watching after the subpar (in my opinion) third season.
